As a family of immigrants growing up in Brooklyn, NY, we did not have much ready access to nature. Our families would gather once in a while and bring all of the children out to a beach, lake, or river whenever possible. This was a quick sketch of one of those memories — three young girls crowded on a boat, being rowed by our uncle during sunset.
